Service Project
At each weekend event, we select a service project in order to help others in need. This weekend we will be collecting items for McAuley Village: Supporting Women & Children Rebuilding Their Lives. McAuley Village provides safe, secure housing for women and children fleeing domestic violence. They offer more than just a place to stay โ they provide stability, dignity, and a clear pathway toward independence.
Their wishlist items are: Canned tuna or chicken, Peanut butter, Jelly/jam, Pasta, Cereal, Mac & cheese, Canned vegetables (corn, green beans, carrots), Canned pasta sauce
Women’s Wilderness Weekend Store & Marketplace
At every weekend, we have WWW items (sweatshirts, t-shirts, fleece jackets and vests, mugs, hats, earplugs, etc.) available for sale in our store. Please bring cash or checks for purchases.
Women’s Marketplace – There will be an area of items for sale (on the honor system) made by the women attending the weekend. Anyone is welcome. Items must be handmade and an item donated to use for the drawing that benefits the Womenโs Wilderness – Leslie Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund. To be included in the Marketplace, participants must contact us at WWWofRI@gmail.com prior to the weekend.
