Tri-State Hike & Flower Essence May 22

Women’s Wilderness Weekend has a tri-state hike May 22, 10:30 a.m. to the point where RI, CT and MA meet, capped with a flower essence workshop nearby in Pascoag, RI and Bring Your Own Sandwich (BYOS) lunch.

All women 18+ are invited to join the group at 652 E Thompson Rd, Thompson, CT.

The hike has options for beginner and moderate hikers, allowing less ambitious walkers to complete a 1.7 mile while those with the energy can go a full 3.5 mile tri-state hike circuit.

After the hike, the group will drive to Jenza’s Garden, South Main St., Pascoag, RI 02859 for the BYOS picnic lunch and a beginners guide to Flower Essences: What are they? How do you use them?

Jenn of Jenza’s Garden has been making flower essences for several years and she will answer all these questions and more. There will be a small $10 fee for this class and flower essences will be available at a special rate.

• This is the tail end of hunting season, so please wear an orange hat or vest. We will have some orange vests to borrow and some hats for sale. We’ll also ask everyone to sign our waiver before we head out.
